Association of German Biotechnology Companies (DECHEMA)

TThe Association of German Biotechnology Companies (www.dechema.de) is a non-profit scientific and technical society based in Frankfurt, Germany. It has more than 5,500 private and institutional members, among them scientists, engineers, companies, organizations and institutes.
DECHEMA promotes and supports research and technological progress in Chemical Technology and Biotechnology. DECHEMA regards itself as interface between science, economy, state and public.

BioCat

Biocat (www.biocat.cat) is the biocluster organization, fostered by the Government of Catalonia (Spain), and composed of companies and public research institutions, that promotes biotechnology and biomedicine in Catalonia. Its goals are facilitating networking among the different stakeholders, fostering biotechnology as a key economic driver for the country, promoting Catalonia biotechnology at the world stage and informing and contribute to a better understanding and perception of biotechnology.

Bioindustry Park Canavese - Italy

Bioindustry Park Canavese (www.bioindustrypark.eu) is a science and technology park located in Canavese, near Turin in the north of Italy. The Park promotes and develops research in biotechnologies and life sciences, hosting enterprises of the chemical, pharmaceutical, diagnostic, bioengineering and information science fields. It offers research facilities, scientific and support services, such as technology transfer, patent support, tutoring/mentoring of start-ups and spin-offs.

Federation of Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FAPCCI)

The Federation of Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (www.fapcci.in) is a organization representing large, medium and small scale industries in Andhra Pradesh, India. It also represents wholesale, retail and small trade organizations. It consists of public, private, joint and corporate sectors. With about 150 other Chambers and Associations at State, District, Mandal levels affiliated to it. FAPCCI has 2940 members on its rolls. Its indirect membership through its affiliates covers a broad spectrum of industries and trade organizations. Presently the Chamber lends its support to the Government in its effort to promote economic growth of the country through planned programme of economic development.

ICRISAT

International Crops Research Institute for Semi Arid Tropics (www.icrisat.org) is a non-profit and non-political organization that does innovative agricultural research and cpacity building for sustainable development with a wide array of partners across the globe. ICRISAT’s mission is to help empower 600 million poor people to overcome hunger, poverty and a degraded environment in the dry tropics through better agriculture. ICRISAT belongs to the alliance of centers of the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research (CGIAR).

Maryland India Business Round Table (MIBRT)

Maryland India Business Roundtable (www.mibrt.org) is a non-profit business league that designed to promote business between Maryland and Indian companies, especially small and medium. The project will achieve its objective of bringing together Maryland and Indian companies through focused seminars on India and U.S. markets and Courses for entrepreneurs on doing Business with Maryland and doing Business in India and specific programs to promote information technology and biotechnology businesses respectively between Maryland and Indian companies.

Russian Biotechnology Society

The Russian Biotechnology Society (www.biorosinfo.org) has been established on October, 29, 2003 (registered at the Ministry of Justice December, 15, 2003). In 2004 the Society has been granted the name of Juri Ovtchinnikov, the outstanding Soviet scientist, one of the fathers of the modern Russian biotechnology. In 2009, the Society counted 3025 members; it consists of 57 regional divisions in the Russian Federation. Society targets are the development of the knowledge-based Biotechnology and Bioeconomics in the Russian Federation.

The European Federation of Biotechnology

The European Federation of Biotechnology (www.efb-central.org) is the non-profit association of all National and Cross-National Learned Societies, Universities, Institutes, Companies and Individuals interested in the promotion of Biotechnology throughout Europe and beyond. The European Federation of Biotechnology (EFB) was established in 1978 with the objective of promoting biotechnology for the better use of Nature's resources. EFB is currently initiating activities to assess and develop opportunities for cooperation and strategic relations in the field of biotechnology between the European Union and major countries and regions such as China, South East Asia and South-America.
